Product Preparation Demonstration.
The above shots demonstrate a recent retail national advertising campaign I was involved in. The objective was to create and photograph a step by step process showing how various food products are made in store.
On the morning of this particular shoot, I met Tony the photographer, Tom the photographic assistant and Helen from the advertising agency, who came armed with lots of visuals for our day! to discuss how we were going to produce several different products to be made by this step by step process during the day. It looked set to be a busy day!
We came to the fish section of the store towards the end of the day. My task here was to create a salmon roulade, with the various stages in the recipe’s development being photographed.
Tony gave the directive of where the best location in our designated space would be, to create the best background for our shots, and how the lighting could be used to best possible effect. Shooting on ice
looked great photographically, although the ice melted surprisingly quickly and had to be replenished a couple of times! The client was pleased with the shots at the end of the day,
It really is a team effort on all types of photographic projects, with team members working together to achieve the best possible outcome for the customer.
I thoroughly enjoyed the few days I had working in store with the Powerhouse photographic team and Live and Breathe Design Agency.
